07/06/2012 ** Been a while!!!

Been a while, no?? Been sooooo very busy during the Summer I Session at the college, that I’ve only had time for updates on Facebook. I was asked to teach a photography enrichment class for the ACE Summer program. Instead of doing it on my usual basic classes, the instructors wanted me to add a fashion/modeling show towards the end of the session. A friend, Armando Musquez, who is a portrait studio photographer and owner of Armando Musquez Photography of Beeville, came out and talked to the few students I had. He then agreed to come out and help with the modeling show which turned out to be an awesome success due to his direction!!  Thank you Armando Musquez for your time!!! The Digital Video students for the Summer classes video taped it. It’s attached but long, I got to see what I missed tho. Since most of the students I worked with had other classes, they weren’t able to help photograph like I had arranged, so I enlisted the help of a couple of ladies that work at the college along with one student and myself. It was blast!!! Especially the little ones that walked the runway!!! â˜ș

I’ve signed up for 18 hours of classes for the Fall 2012 Session. God willing, I should graduate by December 2012 with a Computer Information Technology AAS degree….and then!!!….I can go on to obtain my Accounting AAS degree, which is only 15-16 hours extra on top of all the other classes I have. I might also receive “4” Level 1 & 2 certificates, cool huh??

Don’t know what I plan to do with all this knowledge, but I know it’s all in God’s hands…..I got the “tutoring” job at the college thru Him, wasn’t looking for it, but it happened and I’ve really had a great time with it!! We will just have to see what happens down the road!! One thing I have found out, I love to “tinker”, the robotics program has been awesome!!!

Blessings to all, have an awesome July and keep cool!!! ♄ sylvia
